What You Will Learn

Turn a baseline practice result into a prioritized, evidence-based review plan.
Use a repeatable scan for airspace, sectional, weather, performance, and operations scenarios.
Separate a confident answer from a guess and capture the exact source needed to verify it.
Run a timed-practice session, review misses productively, and prepare a calm test-day routine.

Who it's for

For remote-pilot applicants and working drone operators who want to study a defined Part 107 topic with short, self-paced lessons. It is independent education—not FAA training, an FAA credential, or a promise of a test result.

About This Course

Learn. Fly. Pass. — with a clear final-week plan.

Test-Ready Sprint is a practical review companion for the final seven days before an FAA Part 107 knowledge test. It does not reteach a full ground school. Instead, it helps you find the topics that need attention, direct limited study time toward high-yield decisions, practice calm pacing, and build a test-day plan.

Who this is for

This sprint is for prospective remote pilots who have already covered the core Part 107 knowledge areas and want a structured final review. It is especially useful if your notes feel scattered, your practice results are uneven, or you are close enough to test day that a full-course replay is no longer the best use of time.

What you will do

  • Take a baseline diagnostic and turn the result into a short, honest review map.
  • Refresh airspace, sectional, weather, performance, and operations reasoning without memorizing isolated facts.
  • Work through scenario prompts that ask for a defensible next step, then compare your reasoning with a study rationale.
  • Rehearse a timed-practice protocol and finish with a test-day checklist plus a recovery plan for any uncertain result.

What this is not

SkyPilot Prep is an independent study-planning and review resource. This course is not official FAA material, legal advice, flight training, an operating authorization, or a promise that you will pass. FAA regulations, guidance, knowledge-test standards, and testing-provider procedures can change. Use current FAA publications, the applicable Airman Certification Standards, and your testing provider as the source of truth before flying or testing.

Your study system

01

Seven-day flight plan

A compact progression from diagnostic to focused review, mixed scenarios, timed rehearsal, and test-day readiness.

02

Decision-first review

Short prompts and rationale patterns help you identify the cue, choose a next step, and name what to verify.

03

Recovery built in

A missed target or uncertain practice score becomes a revised study plan—not a reason to cram everything again.

Prerequisites

  • You have already completed, or are actively completing, a Part 107 ground-school or self-study plan.
  • You can set aside 30–60 focused minutes on most days during the seven-day sprint.
  • You will keep current FAA references and your testing-provider details available for verification.

Completion record

Completing this sprint records your personal review progress with SkyPilot Prep. It is not an FAA certificate, rating, endorsement, or authorization to operate.

Independent preparation

SkyPilot Prep is an independent exam-preparation resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Federal Aviation Administration. This course is not official FAA material, legal advice, flight training, or a guarantee of a passing score, certificate, operating privilege, or regulatory compliance. Verify current FAA and testing-provider requirements before flying or testing.

Questions before takeoff

Is Test-Ready Sprint an official FAA course?

No. SkyPilot Prep is an independent education provider. This is a study-planning and review companion; current FAA publications, the applicable Airman Certification Standards, and your testing provider remain the official sources.

Is this a replacement for a full Part 107 course?

No. The sprint assumes you have already studied the core knowledge areas. It helps you prioritize and rehearse them during the final week rather than providing complete initial instruction.

Will this guarantee that I pass?

No. No study product can guarantee a score, certificate, or operating privilege. Use the sprint to find gaps, then verify details against current official materials before scheduling or testing.

Does this provide legal advice or flight training?

No. It is not legal advice, flight instruction, or authorization to operate. Consult current FAA sources and qualified professionals when your situation requires them.

What is included with this course?

Your enrollment includes the self-paced course lessons, the published course outline, and any free preview lesson shown on this page. It is independent preparation material; it does not include an FAA knowledge test appointment or FAA-issued credential.

How long can I access the course?

The current application keeps access available while your enrollment record remains active. It does not enforce a time-based access expiration. If a refund is approved, access to that refunded course may be revoked under the refund policy.

How does the 14-day refund policy work?

You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase when you have completed or accessed less than 20% of the purchased course. Submit the request through the refund policy or Contact page; requests are reviewed manually and are not automatically approved.

Does this course replace the FAA knowledge test?

No. This course does not replace the FAA knowledge test. Applicants must follow the FAA's remote-pilot steps, including taking the Unmanned Aircraft General—Small knowledge test at an FAA-approved knowledge testing center.

Is the completion certificate an FAA certificate?

No. Any completion certificate is a SkyPilot Prep course-completion record only—not an FAA certificate, rating, license, or credential.

How do I register and schedule the knowledge test?

Create an FAA Tracking Number in IACRA, then schedule the Unmanned Aircraft General—Small knowledge test at an FAA-approved knowledge testing center. Review the FAA's remote pilot steps before booking.

What are the score, question count, and test fee?

The current PSI UAG bulletin lists 60 scored questions plus 5 unscored validation questions, 120 minutes, and a 70% passing score. The FAA directs applicants to the testing provider to schedule and pay; confirm the current testing-center fee during booking. See the PSI UAG Applicant Information Bulletin.
