What You Will Learn
Who it's for
For remote-pilot applicants and working drone operators who want to study a defined Part 107 topic with short, self-paced lessons. It is independent education—not FAA training, an FAA credential, or a promise of a test result.
About This Course
Practice the reasoning, not a memorized answer key.
Part 107 Practice Exam Lab is a compact, self-paced drill room for learners who want to pressure-test their understanding before test day. Work through original Part 107-style knowledge prompts, use a simple timing routine, and review the explanation behind each decision across airspace, weather, operations, and aircraft performance.
This is not a comprehensive ground school. It is a focused practice-and-review lab for turning missed ideas into a clearer next study step. Every drill is original educational material—not an FAA test question or a reproduction of an exam item.
SkyPilot Prep is an independent education provider. Check current FAA publications and your testing provider for official requirements and test administration details.
Your study system
Original decision drills
Practice with fresh educational scenarios designed to surface the reasoning behind a choice—not to imitate or reproduce FAA test questions.
Explanation-first review
Each lesson models a short debrief: identify the clue, name the rule or concept, and record the next source to review.
Compact timed-study plan
Use brief practice blocks and reset points to prepare deliberately without turning this entry lab into a full ground school.
Prerequisites
- A basic familiarity with Part 107 knowledge areas or an active study plan using current FAA references.
- A notebook, notes app, or study tracker for recording missed concepts and review actions.
- A commitment to verify current rules, charts, weather information, and testing details from official sources.
Completion record
Completion records your work in this SkyPilot Prep practice lab. It is not an FAA certificate, endorsement, rating, authorization, or proof of testing readiness.
Independent preparation
SkyPilot Prep is an independent education provider and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Federal Aviation Administration. This course contains original educational drills, not FAA knowledge-test questions or official FAA material. It does not guarantee a passing score, certificate, operating privilege, or regulatory compliance. Confirm current FAA rules, guidance, charts, weather information, and testing details through official sources.
Questions before takeoff
Are these actual FAA knowledge-test questions?
No. The drills are original SkyPilot Prep educational scenarios. They are not FAA questions, recalled test items, or a reproduction of any exam.
Will this lab guarantee a passing score?
No. It helps you identify study gaps and practice your review process, but no course can promise a score, certificate, or testing outcome.
Is this a full Part 107 course?
No. This is a compact drill-and-explanation lab. Use it alongside current FAA materials and a broader study plan when you need deeper instruction.
What is included with this course?
Your enrollment includes the self-paced course lessons, the published course outline, and any free preview lesson shown on this page. It is independent preparation material; it does not include an FAA knowledge test appointment or FAA-issued credential.
How long can I access the course?
The current application keeps access available while your enrollment record remains active. It does not enforce a time-based access expiration. If a refund is approved, access to that refunded course may be revoked under the refund policy.
How does the 14-day refund policy work?
You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase when you have completed or accessed less than 20% of the purchased course. Submit the request through the refund policy or Contact page; requests are reviewed manually and are not automatically approved.
Does this course replace the FAA knowledge test?
No. This course does not replace the FAA knowledge test. Applicants must follow the FAA's remote-pilot steps, including taking the Unmanned Aircraft General—Small knowledge test at an FAA-approved knowledge testing center.
Is the completion certificate an FAA certificate?
No. Any completion certificate is a SkyPilot Prep course-completion record only—not an FAA certificate, rating, license, or credential.
How do I register and schedule the knowledge test?
Create an FAA Tracking Number in IACRA, then schedule the Unmanned Aircraft General—Small knowledge test at an FAA-approved knowledge testing center. Review the FAA's remote pilot steps before booking.
What are the score, question count, and test fee?
The current PSI UAG bulletin lists 60 scored questions plus 5 unscored validation questions, 120 minutes, and a 70% passing score. The FAA directs applicants to the testing provider to schedule and pay; confirm the current testing-center fee during booking. See the PSI UAG Applicant Information Bulletin.
