What You Will Learn
Who it's for
For remote-pilot applicants and working drone operators who want to study a defined Part 107 topic with short, self-paced lessons. It is independent education—not FAA training, an FAA credential, or a promise of a test result.
About This Course
Build a calm, client-ready starting point.
Drone Business Launchpad helps newly certified Part 107 pilots turn early interest into a simple, repeatable business workflow. You will choose a focused offer, price and scope it clearly, run a useful discovery call and site brief, communicate professional boundaries, hand off work cleanly, and plan the first 30 days of steady outreach and improvement.
This is not a promise of clients or revenue. It is a practical starting system for doing the controllable work: deciding what you offer, being clear about what is included, planning responsibly, and following through reliably.
Educational boundaries
SkyPilot Prep is an independent education provider. This course offers general educational information only; it is not legal, tax, insurance, financial, employment, or regulatory advice. Use qualified professionals and current official sources for decisions affecting your business or operation.
Your study system
A simple operating system
Move from niche selection through handoff with templates and decision prompts that fit an early-stage operation.
Clear professional boundaries
Learn how to say what you can offer, what needs verification, and when a request calls for a qualified professional.
Thirty-day momentum plan
Finish with small, trackable actions for outreach, practice, systems, and review instead of a vague launch checklist.

Does this course replace legal, tax, insurance, or contract advice?
No. It is educational only. Consult qualified professionals and current official sources for decisions specific to your business.

No. You remain responsible for current FAA, local, client-site, insurance, and operational requirements for each mission.

How do I register and schedule the knowledge test?
Create an FAA Tracking Number in IACRA, then schedule the Unmanned Aircraft General—Small knowledge test at an FAA-approved knowledge testing center. Review the FAA's remote pilot steps before booking.
What are the score, question count, and test fee?
The current PSI UAG bulletin lists 60 scored questions plus 5 unscored validation questions, 120 minutes, and a 70% passing score. The FAA directs applicants to the testing provider to schedule and pay; confirm the current testing-center fee during booking. See the PSI UAG Applicant Information Bulletin.
